- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, materials, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hoses (hereinafter referred to as hoses). This standard applies to hoses with operating temperatures between 0°C and 40°C and working pressures not greater than 1.0MPa, used for industrial water use, agricultural irrigation, landscaping, temporary drainage and other purposes. This standard does not apply to hoses used in food, pharmaceutical production and processing, drinking water, etc.
