Scope
This standard specifies the methods for calculating the high calorific value, low calorific value, density, relative density, high Wobbe index and low Wobbe index of natural gas, natural gas substitutes and other gaseous fuels when the gas molar composition is known. Specifies the method for calculating the physical parameters of gas mixtures under common reference conditions. The mole fraction is by definition the normalized result, which can be done by the method provided in ISO 6974 1 and ISO 6974 2 .
