This standard specifies the general requirements for ultrasonic testing personnel, phased array ultrasonic testing instruments, phased array ultrasonic probes, phased array ultrasonic scanning devices, test blocks, coupling agents, scanning methods, scanning types and display methods, and focusing rules. This clause is based on the clauses in the relevant standards of conventional phased array ultrasonics, and takes into account the special requirements for the detection of non-metallic pipe joints. It especially stipulates the phased array probe for testing, and proposes that a wedge for auxiliary sound beam deflection can be installed. blocks (including liquid wedges, low-attenuation colloid wedges, or low-beam solid wedges such as polystyrene) for detection. The articles also put forward the provisions for standard test blocks, comparison test blocks and simulated test blocks, and stipulated the selection of test block materials, curved surface detection and coupling agents.
