Scope

This document specifies the lightning, pollution and condensation protection requirements for electrical and electronic products under plateau environmental conditions. This document applies to high and low voltage electrical and electronic products used in plateau areas above 1000 m to 5000 m above sea level. The low-voltage electrical appliances and low-voltage complete switchgear and control equipment involved in it are applicable to plateau areas above 2000 m to 5000 m above sea level. This document does not apply to communication products.
