Scope: This standard specifies the water pollutant emission control requirements, monitoring requirements and supervision and management requirements for pickle industrial enterprises and vegetable salting production and processing facilities within the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province. This standard applies to the water pollutant discharge management of existing kimchi industry enterprises and vegetable salting production and processing facilities in Sichuan Province, as well as the environmental impact assessment and environmental protection facility design of new, renovated, and expanded kimchi industry and vegetable salting processing construction projects. Completion environmental protection acceptance, emission permit issuance and water pollutant discharge management after production is put into operation. The chloride ion emission limits in this standard also apply to centralized industrial wastewater treatment facilities that receive wastewater from pickle industry enterprises. The water pollutant discharge control requirements specified in this standard apply to the direct or indirect discharge of water pollutants outside the legal boundaries of kimchi industry enterprises and vegetable salting production and processing facilities.
