Scope

This standard specifies the ultrasonic measurement method of material elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio based on the sound velocity method, including personnel, equipment, specimens, procedures and reporting requirements. This standard is suitable for testing the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of metallic and non-metallic solid materials. Other composite solid materials can also be used with reference.
