Scope

This document specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, sampling, test procedures, test data processing, precision, precautions, and test reports for the determination of sulfide content in by-product gas of the steel industry using the gas chromatography-sulfur chemiluminescence method. This document is applicable to the determination of 13 sulfides and total sulfur in by-product gases of steel enterprises such as converter gas, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, mixed gas, etc. This method can also be used for other volatile sulfides after verification. The measurement range of sulfide: 0.1mg/m3~1000mg/m3. Please see Appendix A for the detection limits of each component.
