- This standard specifies the test items, codes, technical conditions of test material samples, flexural strength, along-grain compressive strength, along-grain tensile strength, impact toughness, test determination procedures and calculations for wood moisture content and density of finger-jointed materials. Methods and record forms, etc. This standard is applicable to the joint strength and related physical performance tests of finger-jointed materials, but not applicable to the physical and mechanical performance tests of glulam and fingerless birch wood composed of finger-joined materials.
