Scope

This document describes the terms and definitions of the determination method of trouser-shaped (unilateral) tear load of artificial leather and synthetic leather (hereinafter referred to as the "product") using a constant tear rate, instruments, sample condition adjustment and test environment, and sample preparation , test procedures, calculations and result expressions and test reports. This document is applicable to the determination of trousers-shaped (unilateral) tear load of products and their finished products.
