Voltage transformers with isolation devices are usually used in 40.5kV ~ 252kV GIS, and are divided into single-phase and three-phase forms. The internal movable contact is operated by an external mechanism to connect and disconnect the primary winding and the high-voltage terminal. The working normal state of the voltage transformer with isolation device is that the isolation device is in the closed state. In this state, the function of the product is equivalent to the traditional electromagnetic voltage transformer for GIS. The isolation device does not have an arc extinguishing function, and can only be opened and closed when the main circuit is not powered.
