This standard specifies the sanitary protection distance required between cement plants and residential areas. This standard applies to new cement plants located in plains and hilly areas, as well as expansion and reconstruction projects of existing cement plants. Existing cement plants can refer to the implementation. The health protection distance under complex terrain conditions should be determined jointly by the competent department of the construction unit and the competent department of health and environmental protection of the province, city, or autonomous region where the construction project is located according to the atmospheric environment quality evaluation report.
