This standard specifies the requirements for Kluyveromyces lactis, Kluyveromyces fragilis, Kluyveromyces marxianus, Saccharomyces fragilis, Escherichia coli, Aspergillus oryzae (Aspergillus oryzae) and Aspergillus niger (Aspergillus niger) fermentation production of β-galactosidase activity detection method. This standard applies to the determination of β-galactosidase activity in biochemical reagents and industrial enzyme preparations.
