- This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, safety, health, environmental protection and user experience of fiber-grade ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) resin. This standard applies to all powdered PE-UHMW homopolymers or other copolymers with a mass fraction of 1-olefin monomers less than 50% and non-olefin monomers with functional groups mass fractions not greater than 3% and containing no more than 0.3% additives. of polymers.
