Scope

This standard specifies the hygienic requirements for polyvinyl chloride resin used in food containers and packaging materials. This standard applies to polyvinyl chloride resins for food containers and packaging materials produced by the acetylene method or ethylene method. It is also suitable for making containers, packaging materials and food industry equipment and utensils that directly or indirectly contact with food.
