Scope

This standard specifies the technical conditions for pure mineral oil type steam cylinder oil and synthetic type steam cylinder oil obtained from paraffin as raw material through chlorination, condensation and refining. The products in this standard are mainly applicable to the lubrication of steam engine cylinders and sliding parts in contact with steam, and also applicable to the lubrication of other high-temperature, low-speed mechanical parts.
