- This specification stipulates the segmentation of lightning protection devices in new buildings (structures) that are classified as Category I, Category II, Category III and other new buildings (structures) equipped with lightning protection devices in GB50057-2010 "Code for Design of Lightning Protection for Buildings" Inspection and as-built inspection methods and procedures. This specification is applicable to the segmental inspection and overall completion inspection of the concealed engineering of lightning protection devices in new, renovated and expanded buildings (structures). This specification does not apply to the regular inspection of lightning protection devices of buildings (structures) in use, as well as the regular inspection and completion inspection of outdoor lightning protection devices such as antenna towers, oil tanks, and chemicals.
