- This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality commitment requirements for household and similar vacuum cleaners. This document applies to electric-driven vacuum cleaners used in homes and similar situations that do not require professional operation. This document applies to vacuum cleaners within the scope of GB 4706.7. The following products are not applicable to this document: a) Wet vacuum cleaners; b) Carpet cleaning machines; c) Vacuum-type floor polishers; d) Vacuum cleaners specially used for special purposes such as cleaning clothes or cars; e) Industrial vacuum cleaners; f ) Automatic household cleaning appliances.
