- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, and energy-saving management and measures for the energy consumption per unit product (hereinafter referred to as energy consumption) limit for the production of MSG using starchy raw materials and the production of MSG from purchased glutamic acid. This standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of enterprises in Fujian Province that use starchy raw materials to produce MSG and purchase glutamic acid to produce MSG, as well as the energy consumption control of new and expanded projects.
