This document stipulates the methods and requirements for the carbon footprint assessment of battery products, including requirements for the definition and description of product categories, scope determination, inventory analysis, allocation, impact assessment, interpretation of results, product carbon footprint notification, etc. This document is applicable to the carbon footprint evaluation of lithium manganate, lithium iron phosphate, ternary lithium nickel cobalt manganate, ternary lithium nickel cobalt aluminate, lithium iron manganese phosphate and lithium cobalt oxide battery cells.
