Scope
This standard specifies the analytical method for determining the main chemical composition of shale gas by laser Raman spectroscopy. This standard applies to the analysis of shale gas components in the range shown in Table 1, and also applies to the determination of one or several components in shale gas. Table 1 Shale gas components and concentration range Component concentration (mole fraction) range/Nitrogen 0.02-20 Carbon dioxide 0.02-20 Methane 50-100 Ethane 0.1-20 Propane 0.01-10 Note: Laser Raman spectroscopy can be measured The concentration range of shale gas components can be wider, but the reliability of the measurement results is not within the scope of this standard.
