This standard specifies the general method for converting inorganic nitrogen compounds into iron salts and using Nessler's reagent for visual colorimetric determination. This standard applies to the determination of the total amount of trace inorganic nitrogen compounds (including nitrate, nitrite and nitric acid) in chemical reagents. The detection range is 0.05-0.811g/mL (calculated as N)'
