- This standard specifies the method for the determination of the adhesive strength between the inner rubber layer and the reinforcement layer, the outer rubber layer and the reinforcement layer, and the reinforcement layers of the rubber hose. This standard applies to hoses of all inside diameter sizes and to hoses of the following types of construction: cloth braided hose; yarn braided hose; yarn wound hose; yarn knitted hose; yarn circular knitted hose; drapes cloth hose; steel wire braided hose; steel wire wound hose; support spiral hose.
