Scope: This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of gas phase molecular absorption spectrometers. This document applies to gas-phase molecular absorption spectrometers (hereinafter referred to as "instruments") that convert the measured components in the analyte into gaseous molecules based on a specific chemical reaction mechanism and perform quantitative detection based on the characteristic absorption spectrum of the gaseous molecules.
