Scope

This standard specifies the technology, method and requirements for on-line monitoring of rotating blades based on the principle of blade tip timing. This standard is applicable to the on-line monitoring of operating vibration of large rotating machinery blades such as steam turbines, fans, water turbines, compressors, and flue gas turbines.
