This standard specifies the ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid in automotive parts products. This standard is applicable to the determination of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid in automotive parts products. Methanol was used as the extraction solvent, and the perfluorooctane sulfonic acid in the sample was extracted by ultrasonic. After the extract was filtered, it was analyzed with an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometer. Characteristic ions and retention times were used for qualitative identification and external standard method for quantitation.
