Scope

This document describes a method for the determination of the moisture content of waterborne paints and their raw materials using gas chromatography. This document applies to the determination of moisture content in water-based paints. The preferred working range for this test method is a moisture content of 15% to 90% by mass, but the method can also be used outside this range.
