- Scope
- This standard specifies methods for the determination of water-insoluble matter using the glass sand crucible method, Gouch's crucible method, and filter paper method. This standard is applicable to the determination of water-insoluble matter in water-soluble organic salt chemical products. The glass sand crucible method specified in this standard is suitable for the determination of water-insoluble matter of non-alkaline substances. The filter paper method specified in this standard is suitable for the determination of fine crystalline insoluble matter. When using this standard to determine water-insoluble matter, the mass of insoluble matter calculated based on the sampling volume and specification value shall not be less than 1 mg.
