Scope

What is ISO 13365 ‑ 2 about?    ISO 13365   is a series on leathers. Leather is a strong, flexible and durable material obtained from the  tanning , or chemical treatment, of animal skins and hides to prevent decay.  ISO 13365 ‑ 2 specifies a test method by artificial perspiration solution aqueous extraction for the determination of the aqueous extractable content of the following preservative agents in leather by liquid chromatography:   2-(thiocyanomethylthio)-benzothiazole (TCMTB)
