- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage and safety of methylchlorosilane high boiling point mixtures (hereinafter referred to as high boilers). This standard applies to organosilicon-silane mixtures with boiling points higher than dimethyldichlorosilane obtained by flash evaporation or distillation of mixed methylchlorosilane produced by direct synthesis of silicon powder and methyl chloride.
