Scope

This standard specifies the energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry method for determination of iron, phosphorus, arsenic, manganese and lead content in iron ore. This standard is applicable to the determination of iron, phosphorus, arsenic, manganese and lead in iron ore. Detection limits: iron 0.07%, phosphorus 0.006%, arsenic 0.0006%, manganese 0.0015%, lead 0.002%.
