Scope: This standard specifies the emission limits and monitoring requirements for thallium pollutants in industrial wastewater within the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. This standard applies to the discharge management of thallium pollutants in existing industrial wastewater, as well as the environmental impact assessment of new construction, reconstruction, and expansion projects, the design of environmental protection facilities, the acceptance of completed environmental protection, and the discharge management of thallium pollutants after production. Contents and requirements not specified in this standard shall be governed by the current corresponding standards; when the environmental impact assessment document or pollution discharge permit requirements are stricter than this standard, the environmental impact assessment document or pollution discharge permit shall be implemented according to the approved environmental impact document or pollution discharge permit.
