- This document specifies the quality management requirements for the selection, evaluation, procurement, manufacture, acceptance and use of welding consumables for items important to safety in nuclear power plants. This document is applicable to the quality management of welding consumables for mechanical items important to safety in nuclear power plants, including welding rods, welding wires, welding strips, and fluxes. The quality management of welding consumables for other items important to safety shall be carried out by reference.
