- This standard specifies the basic requirements for self-inspection quality control of installation, modification, repair and maintenance units of electromechanical special equipment (hereinafter referred to as construction units). This standard is applicable to the self-inspection quality control work carried out by construction units on the elevators, hoisting machinery, large-scale amusement facilities and other electromechanical special equipment they install, modify, and repair, as well as the elevators they maintain. This standard does not apply to the quality control work of self-inspection of the passenger ropeways installed, modified and repaired by the construction unit and the special motor vehicles used by the user in the field (factory).
