- This standard specifies the grades of casting surface roughness parameter values, the comparison method of casting surface roughness comparison samples, the evaluation of casting surface roughness parameter value grades, the recording of test results and examples of casting surface roughness evaluation. This standard applies to the inspection of casting surface roughness using the casting surface roughness comparison sample specified in GB/T6060.1. This standard does not apply to the evaluation of gates, perimeters, subsidized residual surfaces and other areas.
