Form: This specification covers one grade of commercially pure titanium in the form of sheet@ strip@ and plate. Application: Primarily for parts requiring strength up to 400 F (205C) and oxidation resistance up to 60 F (315C). Classification: Product supplied t this specification shall be produced by one of the following melting practices: Type 1- Multiple melted using consumable electrode@ nonconsumble electrode@ electron beam@ or plasma melting practice with at least one of the melting cycles under vacuum. Type 2- Electron beam. Unless a specific type is ordered@ product produced by either of the melting practices may be supplied.
