- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitments of semi-hermetic piston single-stage refrigerant compressors. This standard applies to semi-hermetic piston single-stage refrigerant compressors (hereinafter referred to as "compressors"). This standard does not apply to compressors using R744 as the refrigerant and compressors in the following products: ——household refrigerators and household freezers; ——transport and special-purpose refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment; ——fully enclosed compressors.
