Scope

This standard specifies the environmental conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage, transportation, installation, operation, maintenance, random documents, etc. of horizontal axis offshore direct-drive wind turbines. This standard applies to offshore direct-drive wind turbines (hereinafter referred to as "units"), including wind turbines, generators, nacelles, and towers.
