- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of air formaldehyde on-site rapid testers. This standard applies to instruments that use a colorimetric method (phenol reagent method) and a kit (package) for on-site rapid quantitative detection of formaldehyde content in the air (hereinafter referred to as "rapid tester").
