Scope

This document specifies the method for determination of sulfur, phosphorus and chlorine content in mineral insulating oils and lubricating oils by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This document is applicable to the determination of sulfur, phosphorus and chlorine content in mineral insulating oils and lubricating oils. This method can also be used with reference to the determination of other oils and organic liquids.
