Scope
This document specifies guidelines for the design and manufacture of self-propelled ride-on agricultural machinery and the stability evaluation criteria for the hazards of rolling, tipping, or a combination of rolling and tipping when the machine is used by the manufacturer under expected and foreseeable conditions. This document also specifies the type of information provided by the manufacturer for safe operation, including residual risks. This document does not apply to the following situations:
——- Machines with an unloaded mass of less than 400kg;
——Machines with roll or tipping protection measures specified in other specific standards, such as agricultural tractors, forestry tractors;
——Road transport Work-related hazards;
——free fall events;
——rolls caused by collisions. This document does not apply to machines manufactured before the date of this document.
