This document stipulates the principles to be followed when formulating the ultrasonic testing procedures for the following test objects: ——stainless steel welds; ——nickel-based alloy welds; ——duplex steel welds; ——dissimilar metal welds; --- Austenitic steel welds. The purpose of testing may be different, for example: ——Quality level evaluation in manufacturing. - detection of specific discontinuities arising in service. This document does not contain the acceptance level, but the acceptance level can be determined according to the detection range (see 4.1). This document applies to both manual and automated testing.
