Scope
This standard specifies a method for the determination of four metallic antiknock agents in light oil using gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The light oil products covered by this standard mainly include automotive gasoline, coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthetic gasoline component oil, methanol-to-gasoline component oil, and coal-based Fischer-Tropsch synthetic naphtha. The detection limits of this standard method are: tetraethyl lead 0.0186 mg/L, cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl 0.0207 mg/L, methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl 0.0301 mg/L, and ferrocene 0.0088 mg/L.
