- This standard specifies the content, methods and requirements for the protection of in-service buried natural gas pipelines, including the intersection (or parallel) protection of roads, railways, water crossings and other buried facilities with established natural gas pipelines, and pipeline communication interference protection. Protection of shallow buried pipelines, disposal of abandoned pipelines, etc. This standard is applicable to the protection of existing buried natural gas pipeline projects. The protection of other newly built buried natural gas pipelines can be used as a reference.
