Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, composition, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of on-board hydrogen systems for fuel cell rail vehicles. This standard applies to fuel cell rail vehicles that use compressed hydrogen as fuel and have an operating pressure not exceeding 35 MPa at ambient temperature.
