This document specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements and measurement methods for the brightness and color difference of single crystal wafers reduced by lithium tantalate (LT) and lithium niobate (LN) for surface acoustic wave devices. This document applies to the design, manufacturing and acceptance of LT and LN single-sided polished reduced single crystal wafers for surface acoustic wave devices. This document does not apply to single crystal wafers restored by LT and LN double-sided polishing for surface acoustic wave devices.
