1.1 This test method determines the total acidity, expressed as HCl, of crude or modified isocyanates. The test method is applicable to products derived from toluene diisocyanate, methylene-bis-(4-phenylisocyanate), and polymethylene polyphenylisocyanates. (See Note 1.)
