Scope

Specifies the method for crack opening load rate to characterize the fatigue crack opening degree and crack closure effect of titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, stainless steel, nickel-based alloy and other metal (including additive manufacturing) components (hereinafter referred to as "inspected parts"). This document is applicable to the detection of crack opening and crack closure effects on the surface of metal components.
