This document specifies the general method for the determination of maltodextrin in plant extracts using high-performance liquid chromatography, and proposes method recommendations for the determination of maltodextrin in plant extracts using infrared spectroscopy (wavenumber range 4000cm-1 ~ 400cm-1). This document is suitable for the qualitative and quantitative detection of maltodextrin in plant extracts.
