- This part specifies the terms and definitions of welded steel wire rods for weather-resistant bridges, grade representation methods and applicable welding methods, ordering contents, dimensions, shapes, weights and allowable deviations, test methods and inspection rules, as well as packaging, markings, quality certificates, Transportation and storage. This section is applicable to hot-rolled wire rods (hereinafter referred to as "wire rods") with a nominal diameter of no more than 6.5mm in rural atmospheric environments and industrial atmospheric environments for making gas shielded welding wires and submerged arc welding wires for weather-resistant bridges. Wire rods not suitable for marine atmospheric environments.
