- This document establishes the procedures for buried depth impact elastic wave testing of highway steel guardrail columns (hereinafter referred to as columns), describes the testing principle, stipulates the requirements for testing equipment and operating instructions for on-site testing, data processing, result judgment and data management. Description Traceability methods such as report preparation have been adopted. This document is applicable to the detection of impact elastic waves at the burial depth of steel guardrail columns of all grades of highways.
